There have been stupid things said on "The View" before (COMEDY’S DEAD: Broads of of The View Attack Comedian for Her ‘Bullying’ Fat Jokes…). There have been stupid things said by Raven Symone on "The View" before (That’s so Raven Symone: No guns on campus because ‘rape culture’). Let's face it, lots of stupid things are said on "The View." Pretty sure it's even their tagline: "The View" Where you get daily doses of stupid.

But this maybe quite possibly be the dumbest thing to date...

The View's Raven-Symoné says she's ready to leave the U.S. if any Republican is nominated.

"My confession for this election is if any Republican gets nominated, I’m gonna move to Canada with my entire family. Is that bad?” the co-host of the popular daytime show said Thursday, as first reported by The Wrap.

Asked if she was serious, she responded, "I already have my ticket. ... No, I literally bought my ticket, I swear."

She knows that there is going to be a nominee, right? Like, Republicans are going to pick someone whether she or any of us like it or not? Somebody should tell her that a Republican will always be nominated every presidential election cycle. No one on "The View" wanted to break it to her, they were all cautioning her against it. Because, you know... nominations.

You didn't hear that wrong. I had to watch the video a couple of times to make sure she said "nominated." Twice. Not elected. Nominated.

I guess that means Canada will get a new citizen as soon as this summer! Oh Raven. We'll miss you. Well, that's maybe going a bit far. We won't miss you exactly the way a widow misses her husband. Or a widower misses his wife. Equal opportunity death. We won't miss your hair. Or your crazy outfits. We'll miss mocking you relentlessly for your unintentionally funny ways of stupid.
