WATCH: Arizona Officer Surprises With Trump Rally Comments...
You hear a lot about all the "racist" Trump supporters and how scary and violent they are. Well, a black police officer from Arizona went to his rally to see what Trump was all about. Apparently, the hate was as advertised.
... The wrinkle is that the hate didn't come from Trump's Arizona supporters. It all came from the "tolerant" leftists who were there to protest Trump and his rally.
“These people were acting so outrageous,” he said in the video, which went viral after it was uploaded to Facebook. “You were just thinking that somebody was going to lose their temper and there was going to be a full brawl.”“People were directly yelling at me as if I’m a criminal, and all I’m trying to do is just hear what the man has to say,” Tatum said in the video.
“I gained a lot of respect for Donald Trump,” Tatum said. “I think that if you want to know the truth about stuff, you got to examine it, you got to physically show up. You show up to events and you’ll get a perspective of what’s really going on and you won’t have to listen to what anybody else says.”
“I’m a police officer, and I have been through a lot of dramatic situations,” he said in his video, “and I have to be honest, I felt very uncomfortable there.”
The amount of unwarranted tension there made a police officer uncomfortable. Do these protesters morons seriously not see that they're just creating more Trump supporters? Do they not get that when you scramble to forcefully silence someone, people just want to hear what he has to say even more?
What ever happened to good ole discourse? You don't have to get violent or riotous with someone you disagree with (see NRA Challenges Obama to a Debate). Why not challenging them in the forum of information and ideas? Damn. I think I just answered my own question...
