Oh Berkeley. This place. I'm not sure if I love it for the pure crazy it brings, or hate it. For the same reason. Wage Hike. Well there's a new problem. Students at UC Berkeley are protesting "budget cuts" which would reduce financial aid offered to illegal immigrants. You know, the people who aren't technically supposed to be here in the first place. The ones who are breaking the law. They want aid from UC Berkeley...

The students ended up blocking off the Sather Gate with their bodies and didn't allow people to pass through. Here's what they had to say as justification for being sucktards towards innocent bystanders...

There were a lot of people who were trying to push through us, claiming that it is an inconvenience for them but I think a lot of us have also responded to them directly that if our presence [is] an inconvenience for you... Um, well, what the university has been doing to us has been an inconvenience for our everyday lives.

Ah. These illegal immigrant students weren't getting freebies. Ergo it's totes okay to be jerkwads to people who actually have a right to be at the school. Got it.

Pro-tip: Being disruptive fungalbombs doesn't earn you points with the general public. Just ask the decent people of Ferguson or Baltimore (see Dear Ferguson Rioters: Congrats, You've Made America More Racist and Dear Racist, Looting Scumbags in Baltimore...).

Second thing: Who wants to splain to me how illegal immigrants get tuition boosts for UC Berekely? Okay, yes, "splain" was a lazy reference to Ricky Ricardo. Situation warranted it. Me no sorry. If you came here illegally... you don't get a free ride to a what used to be "prestegious" university. No es bueno. The only free ride you should get is a one way trip across the border. Or over the ocean, if, like Ricky, tu es Cubano. Multiculturalism.

But leave it to Berkeley to bungle up something as simple as not giving illegal immigrants financial aid to their school. Because once again, feelings trump things like "legality" or "common sense." It's okay, we understand such things are hard for the people in higher learning.
