Hillary Clinton is unlikeable. Not news, right? Except she's the Democrat nominee. The wagons are circling because people prefer plantar warts to Hillary. Ergo the Hillary endorsements are flooding in. Other more "likable" personalities, in this case celebrities, are doing whatever they can to support Madam Cankles. Metaphorically that is. They're not literally holding her up. That's just for Secret Service to do. Or the ALLEGED traveling nurse.

Well, celebrities coordinated, strong, obvious support? It's going to backfire.

People are tired of the condescension coming from celebrity twits who are trying to scare Americans about Trump. Okay, so Trump's tagline is "You're fired." Wait, firing a few people in Washington? Why is that bad? Someone want to tell me firing is bad when it comes to bureaucracy? I'll wait...

Wherever you are on Trump, one thing is clear: he's far more likable than Hillary. But then so is a bag of dog crap. A small rock in the bottom of your shoe while you're driving on the interstate. Cancer. Anthony Weiner's Instagram. I could do this all day.

So celebrities can do and say whatever they want, sure. But the "common folk" (as they think of us), will not react kindly to the rampant elitism being shoved down our throats. Their slavish devotion to The Pantsuit will backfire. If not now, later.
