In 2016, the Watertown School District defied the biological reality that has been evident since humans roamed this earth and allowed males to enter female-only spaces, including bathrooms. However, given that this is not only foolish and defies all logic, it’s also dangerous and sets a bad precedent. Subsequently, the district put its thinking caps back on and revered the policy.

A line of public commenters stretched through the cafeteria, each speaker signed up to speak on the board's consideration of administrative procedural guidelines for gender support plans.

"I believe that a girl should be in the girl's restroom and a boy should be in the boys restroom," one public commenter said.

After more than an hour of heated public comment, board members approved a new plan requiring students to use the bathroom and play on sports teams that match their biological sex.

"I was relieved that I feel like girls' sports won't be taken away from them, their bathrooms will be safe, they won't have to worry about men who should not be there," Tammy Fournier, a parent, said.

Liberals often claim that the backlash for putting men in women’s restrooms implies that all trans people are predators. But that’s not the case and it would be logically equivalent for them to claim “you think all men are predators” for now allowing men in women’s spaces.

It’s not that all trans people are predators, it’s that some men who are predators may or may not take advantage of these policies. Additionally, just the possibility for that to occur should bar it, which is why it was banned until 2016 when wokeness somehow took hold.

Additionally, it just makes girls uncomfortable and it’s deranged that less than one percent of the population somehow gets “rights” at the expense of half the population.

The previous guidelines had been in place since 2016 and allowed students to use bathrooms and play on teams matching the gender they consistently identified with.

"I have a transgender child, and I think that their rights are important and that they should have a place to feel safe," Jessica Wiebler, a parent, said.

So this parent thinks her child should get special rights at the expense of half the student population. To call that narcissistic would be an understatement.

It’s good that the school district finally accepted what humans have known for all of eternity but this should have never been the case to begin with. We already had the fairest system in place and the fact that progressives demand we change that to appease not even a percent of the population is asinine and has no place in a sane society.
