Disney is in trouble now. The producers for Wonka too. Because Wee Man from Jackass has been activated and he too is pissed at the movie roles being given to full-sized actors in the name of wokeness. Because *checks notes* giving jobs to dwarf actors that would have them play dwarves isn't tolerant or equity or whatever according to average-sized progressive studio executives.

How I missed Wee Man in my fascination with this story, I don't know. Shout out to Not the Bee.

Dinklage was the one who, when the live-action Snow White was announced lashed out calling it "tone-deaf" when it came to its depiction of the seven dwarfs. "F*cking backward," he cried. Disney bent the knee... so they could look him in the eye and tell them they'll fix in. The seven dwarves became seven mystical creatures.
