WEF globalist runs from reporter after bragging he was going to track where you go and what you eat: "It was just an idea"
The World Economic Forum is meeting in Davos this week. Think CPAC, but for globalists. A group of elitists get together every year to discuss their terrifying plans to control every aspect of your life and claim you will never be happier letting them do so. Then the media gets dispatched to claim any video we share quoting globalists verbatim is "misinformation." That must be why this year, they declared "misinformation" is the number one global threat.
One batshit crazy idea from J. Michael Evans, president of the Canadian Alibaba Group, keeps making the rounds. Two years ago he bragged about being able to track where you go and what you eat. This year, True North's Andrew Lawton showed up to confront him on it.
Here is Evans from two years ago: "Where are they traveling? How are they traveling? What are they eating? What are they consuming on the platform? So, individual carbon footprint tracker. Stay tuned. We don't have it operational yet, but this is something we're working on."
The Canadian Alibaba Group president J. Michael Evans boasts at the World Economic Forum about developing an individual carbon footprint tracker to monitor what you buy, what you eat, and where/how you travel.
That individual carbon footprint tracker, however, most likely won't… pic.twitter.com/ptRq7BYMMN

Here is the intrepid Lawton corning him on his viral video hit:
Lawton: Do you think everyone should have their carbon footprint tracked down to everything they eat and where they go and what they buy?
Globalist McGee: No, of course not.
Lawton: Then why were you promoting it with such enthusiasm?
Globalist McGee: I wasn't promoting it. Just an idea.
Lawton: You bragged about your company developing it.
Globalist McGee: We develop lots of things.
Remember when J. Michael Evans of Alibaba group said his company was developing an "individual carbon footprint tracker" to monitor what you eat and buy and where you travel? I caught up with him in Davos and now he says it was just an "idea." pic.twitter.com/Ss63TcpMoo

Carbon trackers and giving "you" the ability to track "your" carbon footprint falls under the globalist genre of digital currency, and a cashless society. The Associated Press has issued a "fact" "check" claiming another WEF video making the rounds, one showing another elitist telling you the coming digital cashless society will be regulated and undesirable purchases will be controlled, is misleading and out of context. They also claimed Democrats didn't want to ban gas stoves. The fact that these words are even being said out loud is the problem.
Is the Left saying verbatim "We are going to use these digital tools to control what you are allowed to buy?" No. Would any of you put it past them? Also no.

Global corporations are getting in on it too. Amazon has a new service, Amazon One, where they scan your hand, tie your credit card to your hand, and then let you buy groceries simply by waving your hands on a scanner. Please remember, this is the same Amazon that shut a man's Amazon smart home down when he was accused of using a racial slur. The man wasn't home at the time, therefore he didn't. It took days before he could speak to a human to get his devices -- that he thought he owned -- restored.
It's also the same Amazon that whenever I order a vinyl sends it to me in a box in another box with plastic packing bubbles. Yet my "carbon footprint" is the one that's concerning.
WEF worked much better when no one was paying attention. Now that we are paying attention, they claim they aren't saying what we have them on video saying.
And on a personal note, shout out to my dude Andrew Lawton. He's come a long way since the BlogCon Dallas days of drinking Jack right out of the bottle and renting a town car to take us on a 3 am taco run. Though to be fair, that was mostly me. He was mainly there just being Canadian.
