Our president wanting to ban handguns is back in the news after our president alluded to wanting to ban handguns. Not "ALL," but at least some, if not most. On the heels of Canada's walking pile of soy and hair goop calling for the ban of most handguns, DOOCY asked KJP if Joey was going to follow suit.

“The president has made his position clear: The United States needs to act. As I just laid out, he supports a ban on sale of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines and expanded background checks to keep guns out of the dangerous hands. He does not support a ban on the sale of all handguns.”

The word "ALL" here does a lot of heavy lifting. Joe Biden has, on multiple occasions, called for handguns to be banned. Whenever someone says that Joe Biden wants to ban handguns, the "independent" "fact" checkers circle the wagons and call you a misinformer because Biden didn't say "ALL" handguns. Only the most popular and common handguns.

It all comes down to trust and what you believe. There is what Democrats say on camera: red-flag laws, age restrictions, using the word "assault" a lot. Then there is what they say when the camera is off, which is "bye-bye second amendment." The rub with this president is his nasty habit of saying things unapproved by his handlers. They have to walk back his comments, even though he hates it when they do that.

So, it comes down to trust. Do you trust Democrats when they say they "only" want a compromise? Do you trust Joey saying what he really thinks when there is no one to stop him? Or do you trust the White House saying Joey doesn't mean what he said?

When it comes to the government chipping away at our rights, I don't trust any of them.
