There's has been some justifiable concern, especially lately, about where Donald Trump actually stands on the issues that matter (see Report: Trump Cuts Deal with Schumer/Pelosi on DACA. But NOT the Wall and Hot Mic Catches Chuck Schumer Saying Donald Trump “Likes Me”). That includes the pro-life issues. Especially considering Trump's past statements on abortion. And how he seems to be surrounded by pro-abortion Democrats.

The White House signalling support for a 20-week abortion ban should alleviate those concerns.

The Administration strongly supports H.R. 36, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, and applauds the House of Representatives for continuing its efforts to secure critical pro-life protections.

The bill, if enacted into law, would help to facilitate the culture of life to which our Nation aspires. Additionally, the bill would promote a science-based approach to unborn life, as recent advancements have revealed that the physical structures necessary to experience pain are developed within 20 weeks of fertilization. The United States is currently out of the mainstream in the family of nations, in which only 7 out of 198 nations allow elective abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy. America’s children deserve the stronger protections that H.R. 36 would advance.

For anyone wondering, here's what a 20 week old "fetus" looks like:

This is baby Greyson, who miscarried at 19 weeks. I pulled this image from our friends over at LiveAction.org. As you can see, baby Greyson isn't a "blob of tissue" at all. He's not a "clump of cells." That's a baby with fingers and toes. He needs two hands to hold him. He would've needed two hands to rip him apart had he been aborted.

The left wants to continue snuffing these babies for whatever reason they can think up, usually "it's not prefect, so I wanna kill it and try again" or even "Nah, changed my mind, kill it." You may think I sound heartless. Yep.

Abortion is a heartless, selfish act. I walk that back zero. Babies at 20 weeks can feel pain. And the left wants to tear them limb from limb, while selling it as "female empowerment." Nice try, hedonistic gutter beasts.

A pro-life administration that actually backs it up? I'll take it!
