One of the major leftist trends at the moment is claiming "whiteness" is of the devil. Every little thing leftists find detestable is said to be a construct of Mr. Charlie and his honky army to keep the black man down. Well, they have two new additions to that list. Meritocracy and objectivity.

I kid you not:

A course that will be taught at Hobart and William Smith Colleges next year will teach students that “objectivity” and “meritocracy” are examples of “white mythologies” and “social constructs.”

“This course explores the history and ongoing manifestations of ‘white mythologies’ — long-standing, often implicit views about the place of White, male, Euro-American subjects as the norm against which the peoples of the world are to be understood and judged,” states the description for the class, which is titled “White Mythologies: Objectivity, Meritocracy, and Other Social Constructions.”

So, putting facts and stats above your personal feelings is Whitey McWhiteman's way of oppressing brown people. By extension making the facts themselves racist.

I can't really say this new leftist stance is surprising. Those pesky facts and a lack of merit are usually the two biggest things standing in the left's way of total domination. Typical of lefties, when in distress, there's always the trusty race card.

Instead of tailoring their beliefs around facts, the left would rather do the mental gymnastics to classify being right about things as racist. So take caution the next time you try to leave your emotions out of an argument. You may find yourself facing accusations of holes in your pillowcases. Called an acolyte of Der Fuhrer. On the racist sh*tlist.
