Governor Gretchen Whitmer is not a very serious person. Serious people don't talk to potatoes. The left already canceled potatoes anyway so I don't understand why the most powerful person in Michigan is partnering with a starch because the state will now fund the first two years of community college.

Did that make sense? No, of course not. But nothing progressives do make sense. But she is partnering with a potato to "revolutionize higher education."

According to the Associated Press:

"Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer plans to urge state lawmakers to pass legislation that would provide free community college tuition for all high school graduates during her sixth State of the State speech on Wednesday.

Whitmer also prioritized community college access in her annual address last year. State lawmakers responded by temporarily lowering the minimum age for free tuition from 25 to 21 years old. The Democratic governor now wants to expand the program by removing age requirements for free community college, her office said this week.

Whitmer’s administration created the Michigan Reconnect program in 2021, aiming to increase the percentage of the state’s workforce with a postsecondary degree or training from 50.5% to 60% by 2030. It made Michigan residents 25 years and older eligible for free community college tuition."

The state is making the first two years of community college free for high school graduates. But by the time people graduate high school, they don't tend to get fooled or distracted by talking potatoes. If this video was meant to grab the attention of kindergartners then it would not be as bad. But it is not. It is meant for literal adults. That is how smart she thinks Michiganders are. About as smart as a potato.

Who on earth advised that this video would convince high schoolers to attend college? That person must be fired immediately. What a total clown show. This would not even satisfy a five-year-old.

These people are so incredibly stupid it's painful.

"This isn't just small potatoes, it's a game-changer!" she wrote on X.

My goodness. This is all a joke to them. And the people she serves are nothing more than fools in her eyes. You don't tend to throw talking potatoes in people's faces when you respect them. I don't think I have ever met anyone in the history of the world who was convinced to go to college because of a talking potato.

Quite frankly, this might have the opposite effect. But then again, colleges don't tend to make people smarter these days so who knows? Maybe this potato is more relatable than we realize.
