The Left is historically incompetent. That is pretty obvious to anyone who completed second grade. They also lack self-awareness. When you combine those two traits, you get this story.

“The Biden administration's National Park Service is starting a 'rehabilitation' process for a Pennsylvania park that includes the removal of a statue of founder William Penn and inclusion of representation of Native American tribes.

The Deb Haaland-led parks service sent out the request for input on the changes to Welcome Park Friday on their website and in a post on X.

Penn, the founder of Pennsylvania in 1681, was notorious for his amicable relations with the Native tribes of the region. The park was established 300 years later.

The park itself is named after the ship Penn sailed to America and includes a museum dedicated to celebrating the life and contributions of William Penn.

However, the parks service says it wants to 'provide a more welcoming, accurate, and inclusive experience for visitors.'”

What exactly will be a more “accurate” experience for visitors? How exactly are we going to be more inclusive? Are we to believe that Penn was somehow a genocidal maniac who loathed the Native Americans? What does any of this even mean?

You would think that out of all the controversial figures the left wants to erase, Penn would be at the bottom of that list. But that is not the case. This shows that none of this is about being “inclusive” or condemning controversial figures. It is about casting America as an evil country that needs to be corrected, and politically correct at that.

But no matter how many statues are destroyed, you can’t erase the fact that the USA is the capital of the Free World. Before America, there was arguably no concept of human rights, at least not to this extent.

America is so free that people who hate this country so much, who want to tear down statues and destroy evidence of its history, can have staff positions in the federal government. America is so free you can scream about how much you hate it.

If they wanted to be “inclusive” wouldn't adding statues be a better idea? Because now they are excluding Penn. But that is the point, isn't it?

The fact that the National Park Service knows nothing about this man is a total embarrassment. But let’s just go ahead and let the left destroy history to be inclusive of Native Americans. Whatever that even means.
