Lawsuit: Wisconsin University Demoted Staff Member Over Color Of Her Skin... She Was "White"
Let the lefties in your life know you fight like hell with the classic FIGHT LIKE HELL tee! Buy the shirt at CrowderShop.com.
What is that word to describe someone who believes that skin color is the most significant thing about a person and it subsequently controls their worldview? Oh yeah…it’s called a “racist”.
We all know universities are the breeding ground for DEI initiatives. Even though SCOTUS gave a firm finger-pointing to Harvard for their racial shenanigans against Asians, colleges still somehow always seem to be home for race-based preferences in our nation's campuses one way or another.
A staffer at the University of Wisconsin was hired to disregard anyone's qualifications and skills, and judge people by how dark their skin color was, is now suing the school after she was demoted because her skin tone was not the correct shade that could correctly "affirm".
According to The New York Post:
“A University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire staff member sued her employer over being ousted from a position in a campus diversity office allegedly for being “White.”
The lawsuit alleges that when Rochelle Hoffman was promoted to UW-Eau Claire’s interim director of the campus’s Multicultural Student Services office, the school’s former Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Student Affairs Olga Diaz was told by students that a White woman was not fit to preside over a position intended to serve students of color.
‘You hired a white woman as the Interim Director?’ one student was cited in a federal complaint against the university.
Per the complaint, another student asked, ‘Do you personally feel white staff can do as effective a job as a person of color, within a space for people of color?’
Hoffman said she felt compelled to resign last year after eight months of intense hostility and staff questioning her ‘legitimacy’ after being promoted to interim director of the campus’s Multicultural Student Services office, the complaint states.
Hoffman worked for the campus’s Blugold Beginnings office for six years prior to the promotion.”
Obviously, DEI programs are evil and do not benefit anyone except those who are trying to virtue signal to the woke mob. However, a woman who chose to hold onto a position for over half a decade where she specifically judged people on how melanated their skin was, is now mad because she was told her skin was not melanated enough.
In other words, she did not reap what she sowed. She had the talk, but not the walk. She could not practice what she preached. She would not put her money where her mouth was.
The lack of self-awareness is revolting. How is she going to discriminate against individuals based on their skin tone but then get made because of that very same thing? Someone should have told her that you can't have your cake and eat it too. Honestly, the fact that white people hold DEI positions in general but don't resign so that a "person of color" can take over, speaks a lot to the hypocrisy of all of this.
You can't have DEI without discrimination. The very premise is to fix alleged discrimination with discrimination. The entire idea is that two wrongs with make a right. But life just does not work that way and sometimes people get a taste of their own medicine.
This is one of the many problems with progressive ideology. The pendulum just keeps on swinging further and further to the left. You can never be woke enough. Subsequently, the left always eats their own.
We were often told growing up that what you do is more significant than what you say. Both are important but one is more important.
It is not your words, it's your actions that get noticed.
Let's just say, that no matter how woke this woman's words were during her tenure at Wisconsin University, she just could not be that example she wished upon others and the world. She is what we call a "talker" rather than a "doer."
