Donald Trump won Wisconsin by 0.77% in 2016, lost by 0.63% in 2020, and won by 0.86% in 2024. If there was a purple state in the midwest, it's the home to cheese curds and Happy Days. Gov. Tony Evers saw the massive hit his party took and the vibe shift across America, stuck his fingers in his ears, ran around the Capitol, and yelled, "I'm not listing." He wants the word "mother" removed from state law to be replaced with a non-gendered term to appease... gotta be honest, I'm not even sure at this point.

The new word for "mother?"

Inseminated people.

I can't imagine people with front holes are impressed by this.

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, a Democrat, is facing backlash for introducing a budget recommendation that changes the word “mother” to “inseminated person,” and “paternity” to “parentage” in certain parts of state law.

The Evers administration’s budget recommendation for the 2025-2027 fiscal period advises several other gendered terms be changed, as well. References to “wife” or “husband” are changed to “spouse” in the proposal. In other places, the word “father” is changed to “parent,” and “mother” is swapped out for the phrase “parent who gave birth to the child.”

Let's set aside the morality and wokenessocity of this. Purely from a political standpoint, this is a chuckleheaded move. It's not just a virtue signal. It's a virtue signal about something that NO ONE cares about.

Actually, that's not true. We on the right care because it creates amazing content for us. It allows us to tempt the wrath of the whatever from high and stop the thing by declaring we will never lose again. We can point to this as yet another excuse about how Democrats are slaves to the most radical of the far-left. And we get to do all of this so than WIsocnsin Dems and signal their virtue to... who exactly?

Is there an activist group we don't know about demanding that trans-Americans feel seen in government code? Are there "trans" or "women" offended by the word "mother" and demanding to be identified as "inseminated persons?"

There is someone working in midwest Democrat politics who looked at the political landscape in 2025 and said to themselves, "inseminated persons." That's fascinating to me.
