"The View" claims it's anti-Christian to oppose wokeness... then mocks Christians
Wokeness is a religion and the ladies on “The View” have announced that being against that is “un-Godly.”
Sunny Hostin claims that opposing wokeness "is un-Godly!"
She whines about "the co-opting of the word 'woke,' and the fact that the right somehow has made it a dirty word."
"That's telling me you don't care about my lived experience," she decries. "You don't care about your… pic.twitter.com/pqPmbwYpmh

Firstly, anytime someone justifies their stance by claiming it has something to do with their “lived experience” is almost always wrong. Secondly, the fact that she claims wokeness is solely about “ending suffering” is a level of delusion that will never be true. It’s not possible to “end suffering” and it’s deranged that they think they can engineer society that way.
While it’s not a “bad thing to care about the suffering of other people,” wokeness almost always attempts to “correct” these things at the expense of the majority of the population. Additionally, these corrections tend to uplift others who don’t deserve it while mocking people for hard work.
Ending slavery had nothing to do with wokeness, as it was the morally obligated thing to do. It was evil and the fact that they want wokeness to get this credit, as if their political party did not fight a war to keep it going, is a lack of self-awareness no one knew was possible. It’s also disingenuous to claim wokeness contributed to the Civil Rights Movement when southern Democrats held the longest filibuster in American history to stop it from passing.
Additionally, even if these ladies like to pretend they don’t align with the same party that wanted to expand slavery, they no longer align with the idea that people should be treated based on character and not skin color.
It’s also pathetic that she claims that not being woke means you hate disabled people but again, these people just make things up because they don’t have facts on their side. However, she is correct that I don’t care about her “lived experience,” as it takes a lot of nerve to pretend to be a victim on your talk show while having more money than most Americans could ever dream of.
The ladies on “The View” have a lot of bad takes but this may be their worst one yet, as they attempt to lecture and mock Christians at the expense of reality.
