If your entire self-worth is so incredibly fragile that it comes crashing down the moment someone does not “affirm” your indescribable feelings, that is a sign you should not take up a role in local government. Nonetheless, you don’t get that way without being a total narcissist, which is why Thu Nguyen, a nonbinary council member for Worcester, Massachusetts likely took up local government. However, she/he/they has decided to take at least 30 days to process the fact that they/them was misgendered.

LOL. Does they/them know what safety even is? And what will happen during this "mental health break" so that they/them will finally be safe to attend meetings? And the fact that they/them is fearful of words proves they/them is unfit to serve for office but that is neither here nor there.

The alleged misgenderer has clarified that she did not intend to misgender anyone so why is they/them still having a cow over this? And even if it was intentional, who gives a crap? The fact that they/them is an adult and supposedly in charge of making local laws is concerning for the city they/them represents, and it’s unfathomable as to why society condones this sort of behavior.

Someone should really inform they/them that life is hard, and you can’t live life playing the victim game.

The problem is not so much the behavior of they/them as society’s condoning it, which only makes the situation worse. They/them are only acting this way because people tolerate it, and it’s time it was commended to the fullest extent.
