WSJ to Americans: The problem is YOU, not the Joe Biden economy

Liberals are the number one victim-shaming group in America.
You have probably heard the saying: “It’s not you, it's me.” Well, the Wall Street Journal has just informed the masses that the contrary is true, as YOU are the problem, at least when it comes to inflation and the economy. Because maybe, just maybe, if you didn't buy so many groceries, you wouldn't be complaining about the increased cost of living.
An article titled “What's Wrong With the Economy? It's You, Not the Data” was published in the Wall Street Journal by a writer who often does damage control for Sleepy Joe and his abysmal economy.
In the 12 months through February, inflation, according to the century-old consumer-price index, was 3.2%, compared with 6% a year earlier. Use a slightly different time horizon, or a slightly different measure (such as the index the Federal Reserve prefers) and you get similar results. Take out food and energy—or for that matter look only at food and energy—and inflation is still down.
What an incredibly stupid thing to say. Biden has not even the slightest clue on how to improve the economy. All progressives do is destroy everything in their path. It never fails.
Food and energy are basically half of all expenses. And when the cost of energy goes up, the cost of EVERYTHING goes up. And a slower increase in prices does not do much of anything to help Bidenomics as Americans are not going to turn a blind eye to their empty wallets. Housing, which is the largest expense, is also still increasing.
Yes, some individuals faced higher inflation (someone who bought a house, for instance) but, for the average person, inflation went down.
This is basically what he is saying: besides food, gas, energy, and housing, inflation is not even that bad!!!!!
I don’t have to tell you why that is insane.
Yet the average person thinks it went up.
That is because it has gone up. The average household is paying over $1,000 more a month just for groceries.
When it comes to the economy, the vibes are at war with the facts, and the vibes are winning. This is obviously bad news for President Biden’s re-election hopes. He can’t exactly tell voters that they are wrong; he would be called out of touch. And it probably wouldn’t change anything. The vibes seem symptomatic of a broader pessimism disconnected from the data.
Riiiiiight. Because people complain about inflation for their health. So just stop complaining and problem solved, okay?!
The outlet further stated that “the gap between vibes and facts goes well beyond inflation.” In other words, public opinion is basing its perception on “vibes” and not the “facts.” But it is not clear what they are even trying to say since that makes absolutely no sense.
And for the record, Biden is notorious for pointing the finger at everyone else, including candy bars, as he constantly and blatantly denies facts.
This is all Sleepy Joe and his campaign has left. They want you to gaslight yourself and lie that your eyes and empty wallet are wrong.
That said, it is pretty insulting that the WSJ has insistent that this is all our fault and that the POTUS can do no wrong. Nonetheless, it is still pathetic that these people want us to trust their lies over reality. And fortunately, I don’t think many voters will be doing any of that.
