Actually, you probably will believe what they're playing at Bernie Sanders rallies... because it's a Bernie Sanders rally. This is Jill Sobule, who was a pop star in the 90s that for some reason is following Sanders around like he's the Grateful Dead. Say, maybe Bernie can convince Jerry Garcia to redistribute his hair.

Good lord. This is what leftists are pushing about Americans who simply have a different opinion than them. Leftists are just that ignorant and full of hate. It's also important to note that this isn't some fringe contingency of the American left. It's mainstream enough that Bernie has allowed them to be his traveling minstrels.

Sidenote: can you think, just for one second, about how the media would treat a Conservative rally that featured a song with the words "wetbacks, guineas, coolies and jews?" That's what I thought.

Now, allow me answer the (albeit rhetorical) question. I know it's an exercise in futility, like discussing math with Bernie Sanders voters. But my therapist says it's good for me to work through my issues on paper.

When Conservatives say they "want America back,"  you ask, "just what the f***" are we talking about? Well, we're not talking about getting rid of "the wetbacks" or "the jews" as you so eloquently put it. We're talking about the ideals of America. The ideals of freedom, of limited government, of a Constitutional republic. You may not like it, you may think it's "mean," but America was never meant to be a socialist nation. It was never meant to be a place where the government had the authority to force you to purchase private services. It was never meant to be a place where, if you worked hard, kept your nose clean and finally became successful... the government had the authority to take the fruits of your labor away (read Bernie's Proposed Tax Plan Exposed here).

Those kinds of government's have existed for a very, very long time. America was never meant to be one of those. That's why we left. You don't like what America is supposed to be, I get it. But maybe in your pot-induced, multiculturalist haze, you can find it in yourself to simply accept, that this is part of American culture. Can you do that?
