Even in the midst of the gun control debate, the Orlando attack has managed to spark unity among Americans everywhere (Las Vegas Gun Group Now Offering LGBT Community Free Gun Classes). Then, of course, there are people who see it as an opportunity to completely miss the point and act like dingleberries. We call this "the left."

Ultra liberal YouTube perfectly exemplifies this unregulated stupidity. In their rush to garner morally superior feels, they conjured up a... hashtag campaign. To "celebrate identity," as they put it. In other words, it's super gay.

YouTube envisioned that this campaign would bring people together for hugs and extra gayness. #LoveWins

The response they got? A resounding "no."

Turns out people are tired of hearing about men in dresses. Of all the stupid movements the left pushed like a bowel movement in response to the Orlando shooting, this one takes the gay cake. Discussing constitutional rights and the issue of Islam is useful. Those are matters of importance. You know, things that actually have an impact on human lives. Throwing on a wig and detailing your sex life? Not so much. You have a subscription to Power Bottom Monthly. We. Get. It.

It isn't just about gayness though. The heart of the issue here is that leftists have been demanding everyone adopt their ideology. If you don't, you're a racist/sexist/homophobe. All three preferably. Take this video for instance - YouTube is desperately trying to delete all the "hateful" comments. They want mandated acceptance for their ideas, just not yours. You must comply. That's why when something like this backfires, you can't help but get a feeling of sweet satisfaction.
