Who could have guessed that a street poller and a presidential candidate playing with a popular 80s toy would be so controversial. Yet something in a video between Shaney Yricch and Vivek Ramaswamy got sand in YouTube's vagina and Shaney no longer has a channel there. That's ok. Rumble is way cooler anyway.

I've been a fan of Shaney's work for a while now. "Man on the street" content is common out on these, well, streets. But others don't do it with the flavor Shaney does.

He now has one less platform to upload to. It's an all too common email that people to the right of Karl Marx and AOC get. Your account has been permanently suspended from YouTube. No specifics. No opportunity to appeal. Though the platform knows this is probably upsetting news to you.

The last video Yricch uploaded was with Vivek Ramaswamy. Standing in the Iowa snow, Shaney was handed a Rubix Cube and challenged to solve it in less time than it took Vivek all of America's problems. See if you find anything that could run afoul of whatever YouTube's Community Guidelines are this week.

If I were to guess, it was these bars:

"We get elections we believe in and can trust in this county."

It sounds as if Vivek is implying we have had elections that we could not trust in this country, and that sounds dangerously close to election denialism. Or, it would if I were a Marxist twat with my head up and my pronouns like many YouTube employees.

YouTube recently said you were allowed to deny elections on the platform again, but a) it's not like the platform is known for applying guidelines fairly, and b) we may have forgotten to read the fine print. CBS News's editorial standards, for example, are that you can deny any election you want EXCEPT for the 2020 election. And their definition of denying the 2020 election is if you at any point questioned anything about the 2020 Election, you are an election denier.

Who knows why YouTube does the things they do. Other than the safe assumption they will be doing them a lot more to people who align with Vivek, Shaney, and us here at Louder with Crowder politically. Viva Rumble. Suck it, YouTube.
