“The Science” can’t stop and won’t stop. Because it is doing what it is meant to do. And that is to make asinine predictions that are pseudoscience, at best, and never seem to come to fruition.

Can you name one apocalyptic prediction from the left that has come true? Me neither. But now "The Science" says that we should be worried about ancient viruses that have been frozen for over 48,500 years because global warming might melt “permafrost” and if that happens, humanity will cease to exist.

That is not a joke. The media is running with that claim and taking it very seriously. Even though it is one of the most absurd and moronic things I have ever heard.

According to The Guardian:

“Humanity is facing a bizarre new pandemic threat, scientists have warned. Ancient viruses frozen in the Arctic permafrost could one day be released by Earth’s warming climate and unleash a major disease outbreak, they say.

Strains of these Methuselah microbes – or zombie viruses as they are also known – have already been isolated by researchers who have raised fears that a new global medical emergency could be triggered – not by an illness new to science but by a disease from the distant past.

As a result, scientists have begun planning an Arctic monitoring network that would pinpoint early cases of a disease caused by ancient microorganisms. Additionally, it would provide quarantine and expert medical treatment for infected people in a bid to contain an outbreak, and prevent infected people from leaving the region.”

Oh, great. They are already coming up with quarantines and “expert medical treatment” for something that “might” happen, that has not been alive for nearly 50,000 years by their estimates. They are already trying to “pinpoint early cases of a disease” and “contain an outbreak” that will never happen.

That is not science. That is Political Science.

“The viruses we isolated were only able to infect amoebae and posed no risk to humans,” said Michel Claverie of Aix-Marseille University, according to the outlet. “However, that does not mean that other viruses – currently frozen in the permafrost – might not be able to trigger illnesses in humans. We have identified genomic traces of poxviruses and herpesviruses, which are well known human pathogens, for example.”

Let us get this straight. The one virus that they allege to have “isolated” cannot even infect humans. But they are already starting to plan out how they will quarantine people because they might find a virus that is frozen under the earth that may or may not infect humans one day. And that is alllllllll because of Global Warming.

Question: How do you plan out “expert medical treatment for infected people” - when you don’t even know what that infection is - or if we will ever be infected by that unknown infection - for a virus that has yet to be discovered - and may not even be alive or even exist?

Someone should let these scientists know that that is not how science works. You don’t just run with vacuous prophecies that have no validity to them.

But that, my friend, is the most accurate description of “The Science” for you. Which is anything but science.
