Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's Own Mother Fled High Tax New York for Florida
Socialists aren't even socialists when it comes to living their own lives. Bernie Sanders, last we checked, had about a 15% tax rate, makes millions, and owns three homes. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who says the world will end due to climate change in ten to twelve years, called for the elimination of air travel in her Green New Deal, but loves air travel herself. A key component of socialism is sucking money from people's lives via taxes, as it simultaneous sucks their will to live. With that, "BOC" AOC's mother dearest, left high tax New York for low tax Florida and is loving every minute of it.
'I was cleaning houses in the morning and working as a secretary at a hospital in the afternoon. I was working from 6am until 11pm. And I prayed and prayed, and things worked out. After the children graduated from college, I figured it was time for me to move to Florida.'
Now take New York's tax system and transform it into the entire country with no other living option. That's what socialists like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez want for America. Not even her mother, Blanca Ocasio-Cortez, sees the irony slapping her in the face.
Blanca said it was a no-brainer, adding: 'I was paying $10,000 a year in real estate taxes up north. I'm paying $600 a year in Florida. It's stress-free down here.'
Uh, yeah, keeping more of your money goes a long way in keeping the blood pressure within normal ranges. Thanks for playing, Blanca.
The mother-of-two said she picked Eustis because a relative already lived here, and right before Christmas 2016, Blanca paid $87,000 for an 860-square-foot home on a quiet street that dead-ends into a cemetery.
For $87K you could probably buy a homeless man's box in New York. Without the modifications like graffiti and poop splatters, mind you. But Blanca could afford a small house in the sunshine state, even if it isn't in a posh locale.
So what have we learned here? Well, the apple didn't fall far from the dumpster where the tree was rotting but being picked at by starving people who voted socialism because it sounded like a good idea at the time. Watch Citizens Eating Out of Garbage Truck in the Socialist Paradise of Venezuela. As with all socialists, the socialist rules of high taxes to pay for all the "free" crap is for thee, not for me. And certainly not for your mom.
