We talk a lot about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sporting a bejeweled dunce hat. Though, one thing we can't deny is she's a world-class bulls**tter. How else could we explain her ability to convince gullible lefties she's in possession of more than one brain cell.

Orchiectomy-Convex hosted a "Green New Deal fun run" which charged a $30 registration fee. Most of the people thought their greenbacks were going toward saving the planet and whatnot. Except all the money actually went toward Alexandria's campaign.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez held a 5k in Queens Saturday that she billed as “a Family Fun Run supporting U.S. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal on the Saturday following Earth Day.”

But many of the 400 runners didn’t realize their $30 registration fees were going directly into the lawmaker’s campaign coffers. Environmentally conscious supporters — who jogged through Astoria Park alongside a beaming, strolling AOC — believed their money was going to help save the planet.

“The site says it’s to benefit her environmental plan,” said one supporter who would not give his name. “If it is going to go directly to her campaign they should have said so.”

Alex must've forgotten to mention it.

I'd love to hear Alex try to make this make sense to us. "You know, in a roundabout sort of way, the money goes toward the Green New Deal. I take the money. Put it in my pocket. Some of it I spend on Starbucks and avocado toast. Which serves as fuel for my bovine holocaust. Make sense?" No, it doesn't.

Sure, there was some fine print somewhere saying "the monies go to AOC's campaign." That doesn't make Orville-Cortisone's actions any less disingenuous. Marketing a campaign fundraiser as a "save the planet" charity-type gig is nothing but  a big 'ol fib.

There's nothing really surprising about any of this. Leftists have but one goal: to make your money theirs. If it requires lying and cheating to get their hands on your green, so be it. Judging from this, Alex seems to have a real knack for it.
