This is news to me, but apparently telling a girl to smile is sexist. Which means telling a man to cheer up is just male privilege. I think. Anyway, there's an entire Tumblr page for "stop telling women to smile" and apparently this...

While telling women to "calm down" is problematic, so is demanding that they smile. Many a woman has heard this when she dares to appear emotionless or, perish the thought, angry or upset. Maybe she's walking down the street, sitting on the subway, or simply concentrating on any given routine activity — whatever it is, if a woman is doing it without smiling, she's apparently failing to live up to her feminine duty to pleasantly please all who encounter her.

Side note: God forbid men wanting women to be happy. Can men do nothing right? End side note.

Apparently Apple never got this memo. Perhaps they were too busy updating the iPhone to make it easier for SJWs and their close cousins, the SAWMs (self-absorbed wannabe models) to take and post duck-faced and smiling selfies to Instagram. Oh Apple, get your priorities straight. What would Steve Jobs say?

Yesterday, while rolling out all of their new shiny things, Apple gave a demonstration where a demonstrator Photoshopped a smile onto a picture of a woman. Based on the social media reaction, what Apple should've done instead was Photoshop Cecil the Lion back to life.
