Chris Wallace Slams James Comey's 'Bitchy' Anti-Trump Book
Depending on the day of the week, lefties either love James Comey or they want him to die in a fire. Ever since the Donald gave him the boot, he seems to have become a leftist folk hero for his anti-Trumpery. He even went for pen and paper and wrote what's apparently a 304-page bitter whine-fest targeting the Orange One.
The left will no doubt herald Comey's book as a sacred text and nominate him for leftist sainthood. Chris Wallace, on the other hand, thinks Comey is being a pathetic little bitch:
“Fox New Sunday” host Chris Wallace dismantled James Comey’s new book, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership, during a Friday morning hit on Fox.“At one point he says while he thinks the president’s behavior may have been unethical, it may not have been illegal.”
“The other thing that surprises me, frankly, is how bitchy the book is,” Wallace sassed. “Comey goes out of his way to say the president isn’t as tall as he thought he was. He checked out the size of his hands the first time they shook hands, that he noticed that the president seemed to have little white half moons under his eyes, maybe he had sun-tanning goggles that he wore.”
Well, that was brutal. Would someone kindly direct Comey toward the nearest burn unit?
This book sounds like it will fit right in next to What Happened and Fire and Fury on leftists' bookcases. Comey probably thinks this book will take our apricot-hued "dictator-in-chief" down, once and for all. The problem is Hillary Clinton and Mikey Wolff already tried that. I guess that makes this strike three. 4th and 40. A double bogey. Whichever sports metaphor you prefer.
I'm not going to pretend Trump is above pettiness by any means but, when your best argument against him is "look at his tiny hands and tan lines," you only make yourself look like a whiny little buttmunch. As Chris Wallace points out, not a good look in the slightest.
Try harder, Jimbo.
