Leftist Celebrities Demand You #DeleteUber. For Not Protesting Trump...
Bitter leftist bridge trolls express their anger in a couple of different ways. Sometimes by way of lighting things (or people) on fire. Or sometimes they destroy stuff and attack people. Other times? They use hashtags to voice their demands. This week's is #DeleteUber. Apparently the company came under liberal Hollywood's fire recently for... continuing to work while anti-Trump taxi cab drivers went on strike. Yep, leftists are demanding the end of Uber all because they didn't cease operations for a protest. Monsters.
The hashtag first began to pick up steam Saturday night, when the ['Muslim ban'] went into effect and the New York City Taxi Worker's Alliance called for a complete stop to pickups from the airport.
In response, Uber announced that it was suspending its surge pricing from JFK and continued to operate, spurring social media outcry and accusations that the company using the situation to its monetary advantage.
Many in Hollywood [took] to Twitter to help spread the growing hashtag #DeleteUber and announce that they had abandoned Uber in support of Lyft. Lyft said the company "will not be silent on issues that threaten the values of our community" and announced they will be donating $1 million over the next four years to the ACLU.
Some of the bristling celebrities are Mark Ruffalo, George Takei, Susan Sarandon, Lena Dunham, and other bitter hobgoblins.

Goodbye @Uber. Hello @lyft. #DeleteUber https://t.co/Hk04FpllUn— Susan Sarandon (@Susan Sarandon) 1485794265.0

Again, Uber's crime? Not immediately making themselves appear "in solidarity" with the left. The irony here, of course, is that Uber ended up going on to make a pledge of $3 MILLION DOLLARS to help those affected by the ban. Still, twas not enough to sate the cannibals. Failing to push their agenda is the cardinal sin of leftism. You must conform, or else suffer through the tweets of a thousand angry social justice warriors. And possibly being set on fire.
Oh celebrities and their demands...
