Something's brewing in Germany. I know what you're thinking - is it more rape? Terrorism? Random acts of jihad? Nein. The people are sending a message. It starts with a "not" and ends with "taking any more of your refugee crap."

Just last week we covered some German pushback (see Germany Fights Back. Proposes Ban on ALL Face Veils to Combat Islamic Terrorism). Aaand here we are again, already! It appears that Germans would like a little self defense to go with their burka-free faces.

The leader of the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) party has spoken out in favor of people arming themselves with guns and self-defense devices following a series of violent attacks last month.

"Many people are increasingly feeling unsafe. Every law-abiding citizen should be in a position to defend themselves, their family and their friends," Frauke Petry told the Funke Media Group in an interview published on Saturday. "We all know how long it takes until the police can get to the scene, especially in sparsely populated places," she said.

The lady makes a solid point. A point with which one could defend oneself from grabby-handed migrants. Because guns? Tend to be a bit more effective than, say, "Do not molest me" bracelets. Or the German justice system, for that matter (read Cologne Rape Victims Left Devastated as Gleeful Islamic Migrants Leave Court Free Men).

Something to note. This isn't simply a lone German politician with a contrarian opinion that we're talking about here. More German citizens have been stocking up in the self defense department recently...

The number of Germans applying for so-called "small firearms license", which are required to carry around blank guns and pepper spray, jumped 49 percent in the first half of 2016...

Yep, you read that right. We're talking about the country who's repeatedly censored its own people and recently volunteered for more migrants. Merkel has a multiculturalist agenda. But the people? They've got their own agenda: not being terrorized by Islamist refugees. Thus freedom-loving Germans are beginning to defy Merkel and her cronies by rallying for things Germany hasn't seen the likes of in many years. You know, like freedom and rights.

By the way, that "small firearms license"? That's required for pepper spray. Let that sink in for a moment. This sort of restrictive legislation is what Germans have to go through to protect themselves - from the danger their government willingly inflicted on them... Self preservation. It's a thing.
