HERO: Chris Mintz Stops Umpqua Shooter, Saves Lives.
While the democrats are blustering about trying, again, to pass "gun control" after another tragic school shooting (in a gun-free zone), and other media ask about the shooter and why he did it, a real hero has emerged. His name is Chris Mintz, a retired Army veteran, who blocked the Orgeon school shooter at Umpqua Community College, and was shot seven times as a result. He's been in surgery and is expected to survive, but will have a tough struggle ahead.
Chris Mintz "tried to protect some people," his aunt Sheila Brown told NBC News in a telephone interview. "We were told he did heroic things to protect some people."
Chris Mintz is a real hero. He was a man who did an incredible thing. Who knows how many he saved because of his heroic results? He'll live with a lifetime of injuries, probably debilitating. He fought for the lives of others and so he could see his son (who was having a birthday) again.
So to you SJW whiners, you feminists who complain about the patriarchy and petition the UN to censor the internet because some commenters say "You suck," Chris Mintz is what a real hero looks like. He did an actual heroic thing, he could've lost his life.
Free-Bleeding at a marathon? Not heroic.
Making a YouTube video which continues to spread the lies about the "pay gap"? Not heroic.
Making a "poor me" video about being fat-shamed? Not heroic.
Taking bullets to stop a deranged mad man? Heroic. Trying to stop a shooter? Heroic.
Get the idea? We need to stop praising the victims in our country solely for being victims. On the flipped, it's time that we start recognizing our real heroes again. Three cheers to Chris Mintz. The world is a better place with you in it. Godspeed on the recovery.
