Mom Shoots Man Trying to Steal SUV/Kidnap Kids
The following story is why we fight so hard when leftists want to weaken the Second Amendment (see North Carolina Man Makes Impassioned Plea to Support Gun Rights and Florida High School Students Walk Out to SUPPORT Gun Rights). Having the Second Amendment is the difference between mom shoots man to protect her kids and man shoots unarmed woman, kidnaps her kids.

A mother shot a man who tried to steal her SUV while her two toddlers were still inside the vehicle in Dallas Wednesday night, police said.It happened about 10 p.m. outside a Shell service station in the 100 block of West Camp Wisdom Road.
The mother had stepped inside the gas station when a man climbed into the driver's seat and tried to drive away, according to police. The woman jumped back into the vehicle and ordered the man to stop the car, police said.
When he refused, she pulled a gun from the glove box and shot the man, who then drove the SUV into a utility pole, according to police.
Aside from wondering if the car was locked or not, I'm glad the woman shot the bastard. Mother always said not to take which wasn't yours. It was about time this guy got an etiquette lesson. Though I'm also curious if the glovebox was unlocked. This story is why I'd prefer to keep my gun on my body where only I can access it, not in a box somewhere.
Regardless, in this case the good woman prevailed over the car thief, who may have had other intentions for the children. We can only speculate because, thankfully, the mother took the villain out of the story. Which wouldn't have been possible had gun-grabbing chanters had their way.
