By now you're probably as tired of hearing about Colin Kaepernick as we are (see HILARIOUS: ‘South Park’ Blasts Colin Kaepernick with New ‘National Anthem’…). Apparently NFL fans are also sick of his trifling nonsense. In fact, they appear to be fed up with the entire NFL's leftist pandering. Can't say I blame them.

See, the NFL's ratings went the way of Target's stocks (see Surprise! Target Stock DROPS Since Transgender Bathroom Policy…). While more players get political, NFL ratings keep dropping, to the lowest it's been in 7 years. Now that more focus is on what players are protesting rather than the game itself, people are tuning out. Duh.

Commentator Jason Whitlock discussed it recently and shared a few thoughts on why...

This fists in the air, the disrespect for the flag, the bringing up — the unnuanced, unfair demonization of police. Because again, name me as a black person. Do I want to be judged as a group by the worst behavior of a few black people, the way we're judging the police based on the worst behavior of a few people?

We are demonizing the entire police force, and Kaepernick has done that with the socks and some of his statements. It's an unnuanced attack which makes people uncomfortable, and I do believe people will push away from football after this.

Overly politicized?

Look, a player can get on his soapbox during his spare time if he so chooses. Nobody's saying these athletes shouldn't have a right to freedom of speech. Even if they're wrong. But the protests? They have no place in the game. Less race baiting, more body slamming. We want tackles, not politics. If we wanted politics? We'd watch the news. Not ESPN.

Here's the thing, football fans just want to watch football. Even bad football. Yep, fans would actually rather watch Colin Kaepernick fumble around with a ball and attempt a "pass," over listening to him talk about fake racism. And yes, fans actually want to see the Miami Dolphins play. Hard to believe, I know.

You know who didn't see this rating drop coming? Leftists. Which perfectly exemplifies just how out of touch the left is with the rest of America. They turn on the television and see things that need to be politicized. Everything MUST HAVE A POLITICAL AGENDA!
