Nancy Pelosi's greatest contender for Democrat's stupidest twit, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, finally made a "smart" move. After getting her figurative broken clock cleaned by simply opening her trap, the Democrat darling barred the press from a town hall, thus preventing any recording her thoughtlessness. While it may have been smart to keep any more soundbites of her trademark stupid from going viral, the public relations of not allowing the "#FreePress" into her event isn't a good look. Kind of like all those freeze-frames of her bug-eyes.

New York Democratic House candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is facing blowback on social media after she banned reporters from a public town hall event earlier this week.

The event, which took place Sunday in the Queens borough of New York City, was open to the public but not the media.

Ah heck, that whole freedom of the press thing is only a suggestion. The press should only be allowed into town halls with Ted Cruz. Marco Rubio. Jim Jordan. Pick your Republican. But not the Democrat's newest supermodel.

I'm guessing Something Something Cortez didn't make this decision on her own. Based on interviews I've seen of the large-eyed wonder, I'm not sure she decides what shoes to wear. No, that's not sexism. It's intelligencism. That might be a new word.

Naturally, social media, where people mob up to mock, had some thoughts on Cortez's decision of showing the press her middle finger.

Hey, if one cannot simply stop saying stupid things, then one should just prevent others from capturing those stupid things. Problem solving 101.

For the Democrats, the rules only apply to thee, not to me!

Democrats play be different rules. If they don't want to be criticized by a "free press" then just ban the free press.

Remember, this is the same Nina Pinta Santa Maria Cortez who insinuated Ben Shapiro, the towering titan and double-secret leader of the alt-right, was engaging in primal sexism by challenging her to a debate.

Chick can't handle the heat. I'm calling her a "chick" on purpose. Surely the tiny sexist slight might trigger her eyes to pop right out of her head. But if this woman ever wants to make it to Capitol Hill, she better learn to toughen up, buttercup. Insulting her to help her handle the insults.
