Okay Leftists. Stop Equating 'Meanness' with Moral Wrongs
To the morally superior snobs who don't understand basic morality:
Today the American Embassy for Israel moved to Jerusalem. Which America promised 23 years ago but never fulfilled. Until now. The move inspired you perpetually angry trolls to raise your pitchforks three inches higher. Your way of voicing displeasure. Or a tantric mating ritual. Only time will tell.
Jerusalem has always been the capital of Israel. Not just in the 20th century following World War Two, but in centuries long before. Back when Jesus shamelessly appropriated aquatic fowl to impress his disciples.
Still, you and your cadre of whining leftists have their collective panties in lumpy, mine-shaped bunches over America reiterating that which has always been. Why?
Leftists such as yourselves view absolutes not as right vs. wrong, but as mean vs. nice.
Allow me to elaborate with Israel. There exists Israel with its borders, its border security, its sovereignty. But borders, security and sovereignty are naturally exclusive. As Israel is a better nation in so many ways, there must also be those nations that are worse off. The underdogs. The "victims."
Lemme put it simpler terms you understand: “It's not nice to have a wall. It's mean to have 3 hour pat downs at an airport.” Ergo anyone engaging in this behavior is "mean."
You'll note I use the word "mean" repeatedly. It's by design.
But morality and politeness are not the same. You inherently know as much in the treatment of your own home. More on this later.
First, to Israel:
Israel has powerful military and huge GDP. Way beyond the surrounding -- mostly Islamic -- nations. Just as some Americans being wealthy and others poor, you dimwitted ogres who constantly mine your limited mental resources for new chant rhymes, believe the wealthy is stealing from the poor. No. Israel possessing a stronger military and commanding a strong economy is not a result of pillaging its neighbors.
So when angry Palestinians try breaching Israel's wall, you see it as "mean" when Israel vaporizes the threat.
Sure, maybe blowing Palestinians into chum isn't as polite as, say, offering them the Gaza Strip. Maybe sending the invaders to accost what they think will be 72 virgins (Lol, no) isn't as warm a welcome as a pithy door mat on your front porch. But neutralizing a threat isn't morally wrong.
Let's use an analogy, since we're back to the homestead. Methinks most of you lock your doors, windows, and check the peephole when someone comes knocking. Especially on Saturday mornings when spiritual sharers disrupt your breakfast routine to talk about the ways of the force. Bastards.
For giggles and sharts, let's say someone skips the door-chime and instead punches their fist through the door window. Only to unlock the deadbolt and make themselves to home. By "make themselves to home" I mean smothering your children with a pillow, then having some fun with your wife. Fact is, you don't know what this person is going to do in your home, because you don't know the person. That's rather the point of your own border security: allowing entry to only those you permit, and keeping out those you do not. The hypothetical criminal has violently entered your home to do God knows what. You may think it's "mean" to pump the bastard full of double ought buck. It's certainly not "polite" to puree his innards into cherries jubilee. But it isn't morally wrong to kill someone who is there to do you or yours harm.
You tracking?
Let's go back to Israel. You think it's mean the Israelis take back territory from Palestine. Even after Palestine uses said territory to fire rockets into Israel like it's Fourth of July. But it's not morally wrong for a nation to protect itself from an aggressor any more than it's not wrong to pistol-whip your neighbor after he uses the plot next door, which you allowed him to occupy, to lob water balloons filled with his pee. Not only would you beat the crap out of that neighbor, you'd take back the plot you allowed him to use. Because he abused the land. And possibly the environment.
Maybe it's not "polite" to take that land back from him. But it's not morally wrong.
Here's what is morally wrong: it's wrong to build tunnels that lead directly to Israeli grade schools and churches with the aim of killing innocent people. That's morally wrong. And mean.
It's morally wrong for Palestinians to try to infiltrate Israeli's border with the aim of killing Israelis. And mean.
It's morally wrong to teach Palestinian children to stab Jews. And mean. Plus child abuse.
It's morally wrong to teach people, as Palestinians often do, that every negative component in their life is directly related to the actions and existence of zionists. It's also prejudicial, and by your own definitions, quite mean.
It is morally wrong to continue propping up and supporting a terrorist-prone people simply because you believe them to be the underdog to a more successful nation. It is mean to malign innocent Israelis so you can feel morally superior when you haven't any moral ground to stand upon.
The moral high ground you think you occupy is as real as the lands of Palestine.
