Remember the terrorist attack at Ohio State University? The event quickly became a bastion of fake news (see BLAME THE GUNS? Ohio State 'Shooter' Is Actually Knife-Wielding Somali...). Loads of details got lost in the flurry of leftist panic. One of which being that the attacker could have been stopped... At the border.

Department of Homeland Security officials knew Ohio State University attacker Abdul Razak Ali Artan was a possible recruitment target of Islamic terrorists but granted him asylum anyway, along with his mother and six of his siblings...

While seeking asylum as refugees... Artan's mother told immigration authorities that she feared Abdul and his siblings would be recruited by [a] terrorist organization...

That knowledge should have lead USCIS officials to "conduct additional questioning to better understand ties to [the] group..." But the additional questioning, which the Committee describes as "common practice" in those situations, never happened.

So Department of Homeland Security let the Somali in. Naturally. Because since when is cozying up to terrorist groups a crime? Don't answer that. As you know, USCIS doesn't ask questions. Anyway, it wasn't long before he started doing little terrorist things. Plot twist: he didn't use a suicide vest, but instead opted for turning people into human kebobs.

Incompetence and national security go hand in hand. At least recently. Our border policy is looser than Amy Schumer's... under arm flabbage. You thought that would be a slut joke, didn't you? Nay. We'll leave the "I'm a slut!" jokes to her. Anywhore, we have a long track record of letting in boat loads of migrants. Some of which are highly suspect (see National Security? Alleged Killer is Illegal Immigrant... Deported 3 Times). Oopsie.

The obvious lesson here? Stop letting in stabby immigrants sans the vetting process. Or in this case, carry a gun with which to curbstomp said stabby immigrants...

Also a tiny idea which may blow your mind. Not literally, of course, because that's not possible. Unless you mistake a hand grenade for an avocado. Or this Somali shot you in the face with a .44 Mangum. Minor differences. Anyway, the IDEA. How about maybe, just maybe, we actually run background checks on people wanting to enter our country. Like we do when someone wants a job. I know, right? Tone down the crazy talk. And then maybe, just maybe, if they're flagged as a terrorist, perhaps--just go with me here--we don't let them into the USA. If your mind isn't figuratively blown from that idea, go paint your avocado like a hand grenade.
