Hello there. Do you find yourself growing tired of the media's non-stop negative reporting on President Trump?  Congratulations! You are the 55%. This recent survey found that the majority of Americans have caught onto the constant biases of the suckfactory that calls itself the mainstream media. Of course, we already knew that (see New Poll Shows Americans... Trust Trump More Than the Media?!). But even more surprising is the amount of non-Republicans getting sick of it too...

The poll found that 55% of the public says they've grown "weary from the media's persistently negative coverage of President Trump." A roughly equal share (54%) also believe that the news media "has assumed the role of the opposition party, constantly opposing the president and his policies at every turn."

Not surprisingly, Republicans overwhelmingly hold these views (88% say they're tired of the relentless negativity), but the media's attacks are also turning off independents (55% of whom say they're weary of the negative coverage) and moderates (54% of whom are weary). Most also believe that the press has assumed the role of the opposition party.

Something worth noting here? The number of Democrats who feel mislead by the media isn't as big as the number of Republicans, but it's still significant. At least one fourth of them have increasingly negative views regarding networks' anti-Trump slopfest. And for good reason too...

A study by the nonpartisan group Media Tenor found that only 3% of network news stories in the first month of the Trump administration could be described as positive. That's a stark contrast to the overwhelmingly positive coverage of the early Obama administration, despite the fact that Obama had his own share of early stumbles...

We've said it before and we'll say it again: mainstream media is a festering pile of wrongness. Notice how mainstream media and mainstream liberalism have become interchangeable with one another? Yeah, so has everyone else apparently. And it turns out people hate the media more than they hate Trump... Even leftists.
