Not all battles are dramatic, but each is noteworthy in its own right. Take this Long Island School where, traditionally, male graduates wore green gowns and female students wore gold. But prissy school administrators decided to buck tradition this year in favor of the progressive touchy feelings. They decided delineating between MALE graduates and FEMALE graduates was TRANSPHOBIC!

The student body? They actually like tradition. In a show of bravery (since you know what happens whenever anyone stands up to leftist bullies), they fought back...

School officials say the intent was to be more progressive and inclusive towards transgender students. But that change led to a walkout of about 100 students Wednesday.

Gironda authored the opposition petition, which garnered almost 900 signatures. His father said one of the issues is that he feels the principal made the decision in secret.

"To try to make a couple of people comfortable with their gender identity, he took away the ability for all of the rest of the children to acknowledge their gender identity," Kevin Gironda said. "He took a way that right."

I bolded that statement because it perfectly exemplifies the larger problem with the transgender agenda. The "Transgenda." Be delicate with me, it's Saturday. The principal, in wanting to cater to the feels of a few (so he could brag about it over wine and brie to his woke leftist friends), snuffed out the right for those conforming with REALITY to be proud of their own biology. Kevin Gironda here is having none of it. Props.

"My sister wore gold, my brother wore green," senior Lauren Egan said. "And there's a spot for me to have my picture hung on the wall."

"I accept everyone," student Brendan Ciullo added. "I think you express yourselves as you want. But I think giving everyone a choice. Wear green or gold is your option. You choose how you express yourself."

Here's the part not made clear...are there any "transgender students," or students who identify as "transgender" in the school? Becuase otherwise it seems, as already pointed out, the leftist principal cared less about the students and more about, "Hey, look how mad inclusive I am!" Hoping for back slaps, applause, and a HERO headline on Slate.com.

Instead of calling the principal a progressive hero, I'm going to call him a squishy little snot cronut, who's tossed his brain in the Goodwill bin so he might take up the Progressive Agenda Cause. For no other reason than the approval of strangers in liberal media. Leaving destruction and shattered dreams of the majority of his students, in his wake. I confess, that might be a slight exaggeration, but the reality-skewing agenda being shoved down America's throats is damaging. Not just to a trans person's psyche, but their body as well. Kudos to the students for standing up to both the principal and the larger Transgenda(TM)! Turns out not all teenagers are fluff lemmings who follow ninny leaders to their deaths.

Now if only someone would stand up for Hopper...
