We're not sure if this is next level trolling by Milo Yiannopoulos, an important and necessary idea, or a little from both column A and B. But The Yiannopoulos Privilege Grant is a thing now!

Yiannopoulos, who has made a career out of inflaming the tensions between the progressive, identity-group-focused social internet and the roiling anti-PC counterculture that opposes it, has created a college scholarship fund only for white men. According to its website, the Yiannopoulos Privilege Grant is “exclusively available to white men who wish to pursue their post-secondary education on equal footing with their female, queer and ethnic minority classmates.” Yiannopoulos is its president.

The inaugural $2,500 grants, available for the 2016 school year, will draw from a pool that Yiannopoulos hopes will reach $125,000, for 50 grants in total. That money will come from private donors, whom Yiannopoulos would not name, and a $25,000 initial donation from Yiannopoulos himself. Yiannopoulos did disclose that one of the first group of donors is among the “very famous rappers, novelists, politicians [who] are all fans of mine on the DL.”

The idea for the white-men-only grants, which Yiannopoulos thought up within the past month, “started off as something that would wind up social justice warriors,” he told BuzzFeed News. “All of my very best ideas start as mischievous jokes because they will wind up the right people.”

Well done, Milo. Well done. I only wish I'd thought of it first.

Now, I know, I know. The SJW leftists are going to come back at this with their whole "white people are already privileged and have benefited off the backs of marginalized minorities for centuries!" argument. They'll argue that the injustice occurring against white people today doesn't matter, because of the systemic oppression experienced by blacks for centuries prior. I understand the argument, and it's not completely invalid.

Here's the problem: none of that is relevant to the qualified, young, hard-working white college applicant who's getting screwed. Slavery, the holocaust, women's suffrage... none of it has anything to do with him. None of it. All he knows is that there's a strong chance he'll lose his rightfully earned spot to somebody less qualified in order to fulfill a "diversity" quota.

Also something oft overlooked... sometimes white kids come from far more impoverished, or oppressed backgrounds than their "minority" counterparts. But that's not reflected by the affirmative action standards. The reality is that a dirt-poor, trailer trash, white man who achieved stellar grades and SAT's scored could very well lose his spot to a rich, privileged black female just because of her genitals or melanin content in her skin. Don't even get me started on just how much this "diversity on campus" crap screwed the over-achieving Asians. Poor little fellers. How do we fix it? It's simple.

REWARD INDIVIDUALS BASED ON PERFORMANCE. Period. Always. No exceptions. Best grades? You're in! Highest SAT scores? We want you! Blew extra-curricular activities out of the water? Welcome, good sir (or ma'am)!

...Oh your scores are mediocre but you fake-claimed rape and started a whitehouse.gov petition to fight "the patriarchy"?
