Washington Post Attacks President Trump in Tribute to John McCain
If you haven't already heard the news, Senator John McCain has passed away. No matter your opinion of the man, it's impossible to deny his many years of service. All across the nation, peeps are sending in their tributes to the senator. Though, in true leftist fashion, progressives are finding a way to turn McCain's death into a political weapon.
Case in point. The Washington Post just used McCain's death to throw some shade at our current tangerine-hued commander-in-chief:
July 18, 2015: Then-candidate Donald Trump — who had avoided the Vietnam draft with five deferments — speaks scornf… https://t.co/YnDqSlAa40— The Washington Post (@The Washington Post) 1535245107.0
To be clear, I don't support the Donald's remarks toward Senator McCain in the slightest. Just getting that out of the way.
Now, I'm no expert on manners, but I'm pretty sure using a guy's death for political posturing counts as an etiquette no-no.
It's not exactly the classiest move to stand on man's corpse in order to score a couple political points. Leftists didn't have very many nice things to say about Johnny while he was alive. Now that he's passed on, they'll hail him as a hero, if only to take a dig at the Donald for feuding with the senator.
Once again, the left proves they have no class at all. They'll use anyone or anything they can as political leverage against their opponents. No matter how much douchetastic they make themselves out to be in the process. Pathetic.
In the end, I want to express gratitude for Senator McCain's years of service and to extend well-wishes to his family in their time of mourning. Without any political ulterior motives whatsoever.
